Many Americans have watched the horrific videos of Islamic State zealots proudly beheading their chosen enemies — those of their captives whose deaths are deemed useful to the terrorists’ political, military, economic and cultural control over parts of the Middle East. These extremists rely on today’s social media and other means to boast of behavior that would disgust any decent human being, and the civilized world watches and feels helpless to stem the tide of terror so proudly driven by these supposedly religious agents of death.
